Spells

The Spells tab shows one block per spellcasting class (with its spell attack and save DC), your spell slots, and your spells by level. Tap a spell to read it; its damage, healing or save is worked out with your numbers.

  • Add spells with the search: it filters by the spell lists you can use and the levels you have slots for.
  • Prepared spells are marked; a count shows how many you’ve prepared against how many you can (“Prepared 6/7”). Going over shows a warning but isn’t blocked.
  • Spells your features always give you (a domain’s spells, a Star Map’s Guiding Bolt…) are added automatically and marked with where they come from.
  • Conc and Ritual tags show which spells need concentration or can be cast as rituals.

Casting is something you track yourself: tick a spell slot of the level you’re using. Rolling a spell’s attack or damage doesn’t spend a slot.

Upcasting: when you cast with a higher slot, choose the slot level on the spell to see the stronger effect.

Some features and feats let you cast a spell without a slot a few times per rest (Magic Initiate, a Star Map). Those spells get their own tick boxes (“Guiding Bolt without a slot”).

Mark the spell you’re concentrating on; it shows beside your conditions in the header so you don’t forget.
